So We Stand: Making Social Change Sustainable

9:30am to 4:00pm Saturday, April 9th, 2011 at the Pearce Institute, Govan Road, Govan, Glasgow

Making Social Change Sustainable: a free workshop for anyone interested in social change and environmental justice

This FREE workshop develops two earlier workshops (in January and February,
2011) that provided introductions to popular education and social theatre
methods.

In this workshop participants will use a range of practical methods developed by Augusto Boal to address key issues in campaigns such as problem solving; increasing grassroots participation
and communication; making activism more sustainable and enjoyable; and creating
spaces for common ground and discussion in campaigns.

The workshop is FREE, lunch and crèche facilities (for children 3 and up) are provided and
transport will be reimbursed upon presentation of public transport receipts.

This workshop is presented by So We Stand (http://sowestand.com/) with funding provided by the Economic and Social Research Council.

Contact: franksterra@gmail.com to register and for further details.

While it is not necessary to formally preregister, confirming your attendance will
ensure that a place at the workshop is reserved for you.
